Who it may help

Everyday tasks have become harder

Attendance Allowance is for people over State Pension age who need help or supervision because of a disability or health condition. The amount depends on the level of help needed.

  • Washing, dressing or using the toilet takes help or extra time
  • You need supervision to stay safe during the day or night
  • Pain, breathlessness, confusion or poor balance affect daily life
  • You live in England or Wales and are over State Pension age

How it works

Clear help, one step at a time

  1. 01

    Tell us about daily life

A friendly adviser asks careful questions about the help you need, including on difficult days.

  2. 02

    We prepare and check

We help put the details into clear wording and a real person checks the application.

  3. 03

    Submit and follow up

With your authority, the claim is submitted and we help if the DWP asks for more information.

Our fee

£240 including VAT, only when a claim succeeds

If the claim is unsuccessful, you pay us nothing. If it is approved, our one-off fee becomes due after the DWP sends your backdated payment to your bank.

The total is £240 including VAT: £200 for our service plus £40 VAT. Backdated amounts vary and are not guaranteed.

Questions

Things people often ask

Will savings affect a claim?+

No. Attendance Allowance is not means-tested, so income and savings do not affect the award.

Do I need a carer or diagnosis?+

No. The claim is based on the help or supervision you reasonably need, even if nobody currently provides it.

Are the weekly rates the same for everyone?+

No. For 2026/27, the lower rate is £76.70 and the higher rate is £114.60. The DWP decides which applies from the level of help needed.
